How do you cheer yourself up? I have the perfect formula that works for me :

- Shop

Buy yourself nice things that you'll enjoy wearing. I prefer bright colours because it'll lighten the mood and brighten my day.

- Eat

Treat yourself to all those fabulous food you love. A hungry person is never a happy person.

- Plan & Book Vacations

A holiday relax and rejuvenates your mind and body, in anticipation of the next battle. Plus you get to enjoy the culture; scenery; shopping; as well as FOOD.

I did all of the above today.

Feb 25: Travel Plans

My thirst for travel; sightseeing; and good food can never be satisfied thus I feel I've been very fortunate the past few years in the sense that I was able to visit many different parts of the world.

Highlights of 2008/2009: US and Vietnam: HaLong Bay is MAGNIFICENT!

Below are some of the places I'm planning to visit this year:

1) Malaysia: Almost everyone goes there every year!

2) Thailand: The Land of Smiles still fascinates me very much!

3) Australia: I love OZ

Feb 22: Hot n Cold

I AM stupid for leading myself to this situation, I am stuck in a moment I can't get out of.

Feb 13: The Eve!

A) It's the eve of CNY!

I'm not looking forward to CNY really. Because it means meeting relatives whom I only see once a year. I try to be sociable and happy every year, but I won't try too hard this year

1) The QUESTIONS - I get questions every year and it's a bore answering really. My Mum started asking me about relationship, and I sense even more coming from relatives. Im dreading it!

2) Apart from a few cousins which I meet up a few times every year I really don't see everyone else! I feel distant from them, I feel less attached to them than to ACQUAINTANCES.

3) Every year it's the same routine! In chronological order: Greetings and niceties; Eat; Answer questions; Stone at a corner before going home.

4) I don't really care for the Angbao money, I appreciate it a lot thanks! But the sheer amount of effort required to do the above(3) means returns are low.

B) It's also the eve of Valentines Day!

Neither do I have a date with someone special unfortunately nor do I need one. But it'll be nice if we have a date on this day no?

On an not-so-related note, Some things are just too complicated now. Too bad for me =(

C) Of course not forgetting the eve of RWS' casino opening

The RWS/Crockfords casino is also Art in itself. Designed by Michael Graves, enhanced with Asian influences (feng shui) and usage of Dale Chihuly's glass arts... I've seen the place and I dare guarantee most people will find the casino very beautiful!

I'm quite bullish on the prospects of the first casino in Singapore. It should do very well considering SEAsia is Genting's stronghold. The amount of whales; high rollers; mass premium; as well as mass market customers in it's marketing database is shocking however understandable considering their history. Genting's market also extend to Australia (when they used to own Burswood in Perth); United Kingdom (Genting SP is the largest casino operator in UK); as well as Greater China (via Star Cruises). Once again, with the amount of know-how they possess and players under their marketing program they should do very well.

The game begins at 1018 hours for premium players and 1218 for the mass market, it is also the beginning of the 6.6 billion dollar bet by Genting... Will Genting win their bet easily with a hand of Natural 9 or trail MBS with a 3rd card to be revealed?
